How Does It Work?
We work with schools, community programs, and foundations to design, create, and implement effective programs that prepare students and help them succeed. Our programs can:
Help students build fundamental skills in Math and ELA in preparation for state exams
Teach students the personal success skills necessary to succeed in college and beyond
Increase the number of students who take and achieve competitive scores on high stakes exams like the SAT, PSAT, ACT, and SHSAT
Guide students through post-secondary options
Create a college-going culture
Provide students perspectives on a broad range of competitive career choices
Give students the power of perspective by coordinating field trips to competitive local colleges like NYU and Columbia, and corporate offices like Google.

Meet Salma Nakhlawi, a Five Points Learning student for four (4) years and 2013 New Visions scholarship winner for up to $20,000. In the fall of 2013, Salma matriculated into her dream college, Middlebury College, where as a freshman she studied International Global Studies, Chinese, and Arabic. Before leaving for school, we asked Salma to share her experiences at Five Points Learning with other students. Below are a few notable comments she made.
